After years of fear, violence and death Christians of Iraq are slowly returning to their ancient homelands of the Nineveh Plains. The conflict in Iraq, which forced the Christian population to flee for their lives, began in 2014 when extremist group Daesh (ISIS) invaded with a campaign of kidnap, forced conversion, torture and murder.

OUT OF FIRE... Despite challenges, oppression and the ever-present threat of attacks, Egypt’s Christians have a vibrant faith. When I visited the country, I walked through the burnt out rubble of St George’s Coptic Catholic Cathedral, Luxor which a mysterious fire completely destroyed.
A NEW EMERGENCY - The violence against Christians in Nigeria has intensified in recent months. In spite of this, the Nigeria faithful remain steadfast in faith and need our prayers and compassion.
SUPPORTING INDIA'S PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS - In 2017 there were over 700 attacks against Christians – more than double from the previous year. Not only has the number of attacks grown, but they have increasingly become characterized by impassioned hatred – especially in the north of the country.
