THE FRUIT OF OUR WORK

Last week we received a bunch of “Thank You Letters” from beneficiaries of ACN projects worldwide. They expressed deep sentiments of gratitude to ACN who through the donation of benefactors are able to come to their aid and give them hope in their situation.

Some of the projects include formation of 10 Seminarians of the Redemptoris Mater Diocesan Missionary in Lezhe Albania for the year 2017-2018; extension of the Convent of the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of Apostles at Chano, India; donating to the 2017 Summer Camp in Syria where so many kids enjoyed the vacation and got fundamental educational healing; formation for 90 Seminarians of the Congregation of Sons of Mary Mother of Mercy for the academic year 2017-2018; formation courses via Emmaus Center Katikamu for refugees from South Sudan in Bidi bidi and Polarity refugee camps in Uganda as well as providing support for 981 displaced families in Syria.

Writing on behalf of the Claretian Missionaries, the President of the Claretian Society, Fr. V. Lawrence expressed thanks to ACN for supporting the Multipurpose Hall project at Nazat in West Bengal, India.

“With your generous giving”, he said, “the project was possible and this project will ensure every person’s spiritual aspiration as well as developmental care.”

In a letter signed by Bishop James Romen Boiragi of the Diocese of Khulna in Bangladesh,  he expressed gratitude for the great support received towards supporting the livelihood of Priests who are carrying out pastoral work among the poor and persecuted Christians.

Our work with the Christian Syrian refugees with whom we have now become one family in all standards has had a very important impact on their daily and spiritual lives. They rely on ACN since the beginning of the war in Syria. What they say daily is “without the Church, our life would have been miserable and unbearable”.

The following is a testimony from one of the families:

“ I am an old widow living with my daughter, I lost my son, we have no one to provide for us because my daughter looks after me as I can’t walk. Without the help of ACN we wouldn’t know what would happen to us in this crisis. We want to thank all of you for your generous support.”
