You Can Help the Sisters and Priests Serving Lebanon Today

Because people like you care, Sisters and Priests across Lebanon can continue serving families who have nowhere else to turn.

They stay with families who have lost everything.
They help elderly people who struggle to obtain medication.
They accompany children and young people facing an uncertain future.

And they remain present when communities need them most.
Through Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), your gift can help support the Sisters and Priests who continue to bring practical help and hope to people in need.

Serving Families, Children and the Elderly

The needs are many:

A family forced to leave their home

A child whose future feels uncertain

An elderly person waiting for medication

A community trying to rebuild after war

Yet they continue to show up, day after day, wherever they are needed most.

Sister Gerard Merhej described how many families in South Lebanon have lost their livelihoods: “The families that have stayed have no income because they used to work in agriculture” and “the fields in the area have been destroyed”. Because of your kindness, Sisters and Priests can continue being there for families who need them.

A Caring Presence

Sister Sofia, who serves at the Hospital of the Cross, describes how the Sisters care for vulnerable patients who are often rejected or abandoned.

She explains: “We try to be their family.” Every day, Sisters and Priests continue to accompany people who feel forgotten or overwhelmed by life’s challenges.

Your generosity helps ensure they can continue serving those who need them most.

Become a Monthly Benefactor

The challenges facing children and young people in Lebanon will not disappear when summer ends. A monthly gift helps ensure that support continues throughout the year, reaching children and youth whenever they need it most. Your support can continue helping young people find friendship, belonging and hope throughout the year.
