Sr. Yvonne Gera celebrates 60th anniversary
We would like to congratulate Sister Gera, an enthusiastic promoter of ACN Malta, who celebrated her 60th anniversary since she joined the community of Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. To mark this special occasion on Saturday 31 Oct, a concelebrated mass was held in the convent chapel with the participation of His Excellency Archbishop Emeritus Mons. Henri Teissier of Alġeria, Prof. Salvinu Caruana OSA and his nephew Mons. Ġużepp Pace.
The superior of the Order, Sr. Maureen Oreilly and other members of the community of Franciscan Missionaries of Mary attended. Also present were members of Sister Gera’s family and Stephen Axisa, National Director of Aid to the Church in Need (Malta).
