On the outskirts of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon – ACN is supporting St Anthony’s Dispensary, which is a medical centre run by the Good Shepherd Sisters.
Every month over 1,500 refugees and displaced people receive help at the medical centre regardless of their religion.
The sign above the door says in Arabic: “Religion is for God – the dispensary is for everyone.”
One patient, Ahmed from Kobane in Syria, said: “The centre is so important – my wife and family come here and the doctors have helped my wife a lot after all we have been through.”
Your kind gift will ensure that we are able to continue supporting this and other medical centres in the countries where we work.
