Aid to the Church in Need (Malta) played host to its newly elected International Executive President, Dr. Thomas Heine-Geldern from 5th to 7th November 2018 who was on a routine visit to the Maltese Office of the Pontifical Foundation.

Dr Heine-Geldern was accompanied by the National Director of Aid to the Church in the Need United Kingdom, Neville Kyrke-Smith.

During his stay, he made a courtesy call on the President of Malta, H.E Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca; The Apostolic Nuncio to Malta, Monsignor Alessandro D’Errico and Mgr Charles Cordina, Episcopal Vicar for Diakonia.

He also visited the Church of the Good Shepherd Balzan and met with Sr. Doris Saliba RGS, Local Superior of the Good Shepherd Sisters and the Poor Clare Sisters.

He was accompanied by Rev. Prof Hector Scerri and Stephen Axisa, Ecclesiastical Assistant and National Director of ACN (Malta) respectively.

The Executive President also interacted and had a meeting with the Board Members, Staff and visited some Benefactors of Aid to the Church in Need (Malta).

He thanked the administration and council members of ACN (Malta) for their sterling work performed during the last four years and also thanked the Maltese and Gozitan benefactors for their generosity.
