When Fr Santosh Kumar was just a teenager, his father fell gravely ill. In desperation, he prayed: “Lord, if you heal my father, I will give my life to you.” His father recovered. And Fr Kumar kept his promise.
Today, he serves as a priest in the Diocese of Port Blair — a vast mission territory spread across hundreds of islands in the Indian Ocean. He travels by motorcycle, boat, and foot to reach remote communities with the Holy Eucharist and pastoral care.
And you made that possible.
Your generosity helped fund his seminary training. You provided the motorcycle that carries him through jungle paths. You gave him the strength to say yes — and the means to serve.
But now, Fr Kumar and priests like him face a new challenge. Without Mass stipends, they cannot survive. And without them, the Church cannot reach the faithful in India’s most isolated regions.
Your gift today can keep the Church present in places where no one else goes. You can help priests like Fr Kumar continue their mission — bringing Christ to the poor, the forgotten, and the faithful who walk miles just to attend Sunday Mass.
You are part of this story. You are part of this mission.
When you give, you become a companion in the jungle. A bearer of hope. A protector of the Eucharist.
Offer a Mass today — and help keep faith alive in India.
