EMERGENCY APPEAL FOR UKRAINE

UKRAINE, SUCCESS STORY: Firewood for heating in 10 parish refugee houses

Priest with wood pellets for his parish UKRAINE / LUTSK-LAT 22/00150 Fuel for 10 parishes of the Lutsk diocese as a result of the war Only small file quality available

Thanks to the generous support of our benefactors, and despite the extreme increase in prices, we were able to provide enough firewood to help the people of 10 parishes in the Latin rite diocese of Lutsk in northwest Ukraine to keep warm over the winter. Our sincere thanks to all of you for your help.

Now Bishop Witalis Skomarowski has written to thank us: “Thank you for your support and concern for our people in need in Ukraine. May God always be with you in his Mercy and reward you a hundredfold for your kindness. We offer our thanksgiving to the Lord for you and your families and ask His every blessing upon you. Thanks to your generous support our parishes in the diocese of Lutsk can continue to function normally, despite the war, and provide support for those living in harsh conditions and facing huge difficulties”.

The refugee families, war victims and other people in need are all turning to our priests and seeking help. In these difficult times they all need our spiritual, psychological and material support.

It is thanks to your help that we were able to maintain this support in the parishes through the winter as well.

UKRAINE URGENTLY NEEDS YOUR HELP!
