KAZAKHSTAN: A minibus to reach the lonely & isolated
In the far north of Kazakhstan, many people live so far from any town or parish that they may never meet a priest or receive the Sacraments. A visit from a missionary is often their only moment of faith.
Thanks to your support, dear Benefactor, Missionaries from the Servants of Jesus and Mary can keep making these long journeys. They drive for hours over rough roads and through freezing winters visiting the sick and elderly, celebrating the Sacraments and providing pastoral care to the faithful.
Their mission is becoming increasingly harder to sustain as their vehicles have become old with wear and tear.
