MALTESE/GOZITAN CHILDREN PRAYING FOR UNITY AND PEACE

MALTESE/GOZITAN CHILDREN PRAYING FOR UNITY AND PEACE

Every year on the 18th of October, Aid to the Church in Need organizes one million children from all over the world to pray the Rosary for unity and peace in the world especially for the sake of fellow children in war-torn countries.

Aid to the Church in Need (Malta) in collaboration with the Secretariat for Catholic Education and Fr. Reuben Gauci, Coordinator, Spiritual Development in Schools is once again inviting all Maltese and Gozitan children to join in this noble cause.

Now more than ever, the world is in dire need of peace and hope, the strength of so many little hearts will bring about the peace and unity that we seek.

We call on all especially parents, grandparents, youth leaders and all those who have children in their care to encourage and mobilise them to pray the Rosary together on the 18th of October 2018 at 9:00 am or any other suitable time.

All other groups and individuals who would like to participate in this event can contact us for the necessary information and material.

His Eminence Cardinal Mauro Piacenza, President and Fr. Martin M. Barta, Ecclesiastical Assistant of Aid to the Church in Need sent a message about this campaign.

How often has experience shown us that the prayers of children especially have great power with God.
