There are now less than 300,000 Christians left in Iraq – your support can keep a Christian presence in the region. Aid to the Church in Need, with your help, is committed to helping refugee families affected by the crisis in the Middle East – especially dispersed Christian communities.

Melkite Archbishop Jean-Clement Jeanbart from Syria whom you are supporting, said: “We are giving financial support, medical care, food aid, hygienic supplies to thousands of people…we launched a program that provides water to homes of vulnerable families…”

Aid to the Church in Need is prioritising pastoral help and emergency aid for displaced and refugee families in the Middle East, as their needs are growing daily. Providing a family with essentials such as water, food, medicine, clothing, heating and accommodation costs Aid to the Church in Need around €2,500 a year.

Intense fighting has destroyed homes and livelihoods making families destitute and powerless. As Christians do not feel safe in the camps, they turn to the Church for shelter.

Please consider making a gift of any amount – no matter how large or small – to help families in urgent need of basic essentials.

Perhaps, you may also wish to give a Regular Gift of €15 or any amount.

Any amount you give will support these and other similar projects around the world.
